Full Time Positions at Baxter State Park
Seasonal Positions at Baxter State Park
There are currently 40 part time or seasonal positions at the Park varying from 12 weeks to 35 weeks. Vacancies for our summer seasonal positions (listed below) usually develop between March and May. We accept applications for seasonal positions from May to March and hold these applications for screening prior to annual interviews. We conduct annual interviews for existing and potential vacancies every year – usually in mid-March. We work to fill our seasonal vacancies from candidate lists developed from these interviews. is beside the position title there are currently one or more vacancies in that position. Regardless of current vacancies, if you are interested in a position, we encourage you to apply – we cannot predict what positions may open in the future.

- The Position
- The Scientific Forest Management Area of Baxter State Park seeks mature, selfmotivated, and energetic individual(s) for the 2012 Forest Management Internship. Intern(s) will gain experience with: the collection of forest inventory data, harvest layout, ecological monitoring, GPS data collection, boundary line and facility maintenance, and other duties relating to forest and park management.
