Skill in construction and maintenance practices relating to trail corridors, dry stone masonry, carpentry, drainage structures (swales, waterbars, culverts, etc.), foot bridges, puncheon, trail tread (both bench cut and turnpike), signs, log benches, stone and wood stairs and steps and other visitor facilities, on both ADA accessible and non-ADA trails. Indicate if and where you have built, repaired, or maintained the above items. |

Ability to manage construction and/or maintenance trail projects, ensure the crew uses safe work practices, efficiently lead trail construction and maintenance projects, and coordinate guidance from the Trails Supervisor. Describe your experience and knowledge in these activities, including leadership training and experience, communication skills and training, etc. |

Skill in using and maintaining equipment, trucks, trailers, hand and power tools common to trail construction and maintenance, dry stone and carpentry work. List tools you have used and those in which you can competently instruct others in the use. |

Ability to effectively use knowledge of and experience in standard trail maintenance and construction techniques in atypical situations. Provide examples of situations where you have used experience and good judgment to determine the best course of action to resolve a problem encountered in the field. |
