Reservations now available for winter camping in Baxter State Park. Winter Camping Reservations can be made by mail or in person at Baxter State Park Headquarters (Check availability on line). Mailed reservations must be received in our office at least 7 working days in advance of your trip. Read more for complete information on winter camping in the Park.
Baxter State Park Begins 2012 Camping Season
The Rolling Reservations System has begun for the summer camping season. Campers can make reservation by mail within 120 days (4 months) of the beginning date of the reservation. For detailed instructions on the BSP Reservation system see our Reservations page.

Second Draft of BPS Management Plan now available
The second draft of the Baxter State Park Management Plan is now available for review. We would like to thank the individuals and organizations that provided comments to the first draft plan. Significant changes in the second draft are indicated by green text.
The second draft plan will be considered by the Baxter State Park Authority for adoption at their March 9, 2012 scheduled meeting.
